How much, how often, and where it all lives

Ecommerce product video creation

A catalogue is not one product, and a subscription is not unlimited. This page is the arithmetic: what the monthly allowance pays for in each mode, what it costs to try something twice, and what happens to the files afterwards.

One subscription, every mode, cancel in two clicks. The clips below were rendered by this tool from real storefront photographs.

The modes for this

3 of them apply here

Cinematic Commercial

3 CR · 5s

Your product as the star of a premium commercial.

An AI model animates your photos. It looks like a commercial and it can quietly change small text, logo detail and edge proportions — always check the result before you publish it. Adding a second and third angle is the best defence against that.

Product in Real Life

6 CR · 10s

Your product in a cinematic lifestyle scene.

The model builds a scene around your product and puts it in context. The scene is invented — it is a setting your product could plausibly be in, not a place it has been — and a person's hands in frame are generated too. Over ten seconds it can also redraw small text and logo detail on the product itself, so read your label in the last frame before you publish it.

Product Showcase

0 CR · 6s

A slow camera move across a lit set, built from your own photo.

Built from your photo, so the product is never redrawn and no word on your label can change. The camera pushes in and drifts while a single key light travels around the set — the product itself is never stretched, mirrored or re-lettered, because one photograph holds one side of an object and this mode will not invent the other one.

Before you spend a credit

Planning a month of it

  1. Credits are one currency across the modes, and each mode's price is printed next to it — so a month is a budget you spend rather than a quota per feature.

  2. The showcase mode costs no credits at all. For a catalogue of bottles, jars, cans and boxes it is the mode to run first, and running it does not take anything away from the AI renders.

  3. Budget for a second attempt on anything you intend to publish. A render you did not like is a render you paid for; a failed render is refunded automatically.

  4. Everything that renders on our side is kept. Your videos stay in your library and stay downloadable after a cancellation — they were paid for.

  5. An unused allowance does not accumulate. Credits belong to the month they are issued in, so a month you do not film is a month you do not get back — which is the argument for picking the products first and filming them in one sitting.

Output shapes

Render it in the shape you are going to post

The shape is an instruction to the renderer rather than a crop afterwards, so a vertical clip is composed vertically instead of being a landscape one with the sides cut off. Best first for this job:

  • 1:1

Square · 1080×1080 · Feed ads, Shopify grid

  • 9:16

    Vertical · 1080×1920 · TikTok, Reels, Shorts

  • 16:9

    Landscape · 1920×1080 · Site hero, YouTube

Electronics

Bookshelf speaker

A matte cabinet beside a grille cloth — two very different surfaces, both lit by the same set rather than by a model's idea of a speaker.

Food & drink

Soda can

The hardest case for an AI video model and the easiest here: the artwork wraps the can, and an image-to-video model asked to move it would re-letter the whole thing.

Food & drink

Coffee bag

A soft pouch with small type down the front. Every word on the label is the merchant's own pixels, at every frame.

Health

Supplement bottle

White bottle, white label, white backdrop. The cut works because it fills inward from the frame edge and stops at the bottle, instead of deleting every white pixel.

Beauty

Roll-on applicator

Gloss black, which is why the set behind it is light: the renderer measures the product against the backdrop and refuses to leave a dark product on a dark one. Every line of the 8% complex panel is readable in every frame.

Household

Oral care kit box

A box is the shape this mode suits best: flat faces and straight edges take a travelling key light the way the real thing would.

Every clip above is a Product Showcase render, made by this tool from the single public product photo behind it — hold any tile to see that photo. The shops those photos came from are not customers, have not seen this, and haven’t endorsed anything; they are here because using a real catalogue photo is the only honest way to show what this does to one. The AI modes have no published examples yet.

These are the shapes Product Showcase is good at: bottles, cans, boxes, bags and hard goods with a face worth reading. It films one photograph from a moving camera, so it never shows you a side the photograph didn’t contain — and the two things it is honestly worse at are flat-laid clothing, which has no edge for the light to catch, and products photographed against a busy background, which cut out badly. Try it on your own photo before you decide.

What this will not do

This is not a bulk pipeline. One product is one project, you choose its mode and its shape yourself, and nobody here is going to film three hundred SKUs for twenty credits. It is built for the handful of products that carry a store's revenue, not for an entire catalogue in an afternoon.

FAQ

Questions

What happens to my videos if I cancel?

They stay in your library and stay downloadable. Locking somebody out of files they already paid for is not a retention strategy, it is a chargeback — so the library is tied to your account rather than to the subscription being live.

What stops is making new ones.

Can I render the same product more than one way?

Yes, and it is the normal way to use this: a project holds its photos, and each render against it is its own clip with its own mode, shape and style. Each one costs that mode's credits.

What does the subscription actually pay for?

Every mode. Product Showcase is included and unmetered — it renders on your own device, so it costs you no credits however many times you run it, and "unmetered" there means run it all day rather than run it without paying. The 20 credits a month are for the modes that run on a video model: cinematic commercial at 3 credits for 5 seconds, product in real life at 6 credits for 10 seconds and before & after at 6 credits for 10 seconds.

That is up to 6 cinematic commercial clips a month, or 3 of the 10-second ones, or any mix. It is a fixed allowance and it is not described as unlimited, because seconds of generated video cost real money per second.

How long does a video take?

Product Showcase renders on your own device, in roughly the length of the clip itself — a 6-second video takes a few seconds, and the download is the recording, so there is no queue to wait in. The three generative modes take a minute or two, run on a provider, and you can close the tab while they work.
